I have two questions for you :
- do you read mangas ?
- are you french ?
If you answered yes to both questions, you have no excuse not to read Dreamland.

Dreamland is a "french manga" (they call it like that so whatever) drawn by Reno Lemaire, which takes place half in Montpellier (in south France) and half in Dreamland, the place you can travel when you overcome your worst fear.

The drawings are quite nice, a bit inconsistent at first, but it gets better. The action its pretty nice, and it's a good laugh too. Among all the "french manga" i came across, it's the only one I really like.

Alors les français, lisez Dreamland.

PS : And no, I don't think you can eat in dreamland, but eh?

I have no idea if it can be found on the web it may not be famous enough (or not japanese enough) for someone to scan it. I think the only way is to buy the books ! The editor is "Pika editions" if it may help you

If you want a taste, the author put a short story on the web : [link]
the characters and story are totally different but it takes place in the same universe. However i'm not sure it's really interesting if you've not read the manga itself...

Wa super ton dessin, les couleurs superbes et je trouve qu'il rappel bien l'atmosphère de ce manga !
je suis totalement daccord avec toi qu'en tu dit que dreamland c'est un des rares manga fait par un français qui est cool, j'ai d'ailleur pu avoir une dédicasse de Reno.
Rah j'attend tjrs le volume 8...
Mon perso préf c'est savane ( j'aime bien sont style décontracté un peu jean foutiste).

ah j'aime ce manga, je n'ai moi aussi que le tome 1 pour l'instant T_T mais je vais vite remédier au problème !
